Freeswitch performance improved after changing default password -


i new freeswitch.

after default installation of freswitch 1.4, noticed big latency while performing simple telephony operations. i.e. when called 1 extension another, called number started ringing 10 seconds after initialization of call. same happened conference bridge, took 10 seconds callee enter in conference.

same time colleague's freeswitch performing well. inquired him , came know changed default password.

to surprise when did freeswitch faster light.

it looks weired case.

is default behavior of freswitch?

can freeswitch elaborate happened in case?

got answer freeswitch team member anthony minessale ii :

the sample configuration install when setup freeswitch has extension executes sleep 10 when have default password set. has large warning message on console explaining should not leave system running default config unless @ least change default password.

gcc - MinGW's ld cannot perform PE operations on non PE output file -
