Mutual information between two matrices in R -


i'm trying compute mutual information conditioned third variable between expression , methylation data each gene in dataset.

my data consist in list 2 matrices content is, first element, rpkm expression values of 10000 genes measured in 35 patients suffering lung adenocarcinoma. second element of list, matrix composed beta methylation values of same 10000 genes in 35 patients too. both matrices have genes in columns , pacients in rows.

so, compute mutual information between methylation , expression values pairwise genes in both matrices. but, @ same time, 2 variables conditioned methylation threshold values oscillates between 0 , 1. have seen condinformation() function, don't able apply function every pairwise methylation , expression information every gene.
