rdbms - Star schema role in the Pentaho Mondrian OLAP server -


i'm trying understand olap paradigm.

more olap queries on our 'oltp' data using pentaho mondrian olap server.

i have read online documntation, don't understand data flow being used mondrian.

do need transform our 'oltp' data star schema, mondrian reads , creates olap cube , performs queries against? or star schema build mondrian internal purposes?

i appreciate on this.

timeout - Handshake_timeout on RabbitMQ using python and pika from remote vm -
