Opening Outlook with a Java Web App from a Linux Server with Apache Tomcat 8.x -


i'm trying make web app on apache tomcat 8.0.22 server allow user send out pre-defined boilerplate emails groups. works on local machine, i've deployed on apache tomcat on our linux server fails work saying no x11 display variable has been set. wondering how go fixing this. haven't been able find information regarding using app on linux server open outlook on user's computer.

i can't imagine how , automate outlook, microsoft not recommend, , not support, automation of microsoft office applications unattended, non-interactive client application or component (including asp, asp.net, dcom, , nt services), because office may exhibit unstable behavior and/or deadlock when office run in environment. can read more in considerations server-side automation of office article.
